POSTER MOCK-UPS
Semantic Typography of Design Rules on A3
The posters above were inspired by a series of activities at LCC. In the first weeks we learnt about the importance of the grid and how to build one. During the Collaborative Unit we then explored what semantic typography is, experimenting on a given word.
Photos taken during one of the first workshops.
Using a print grid and typographic cut outs we brainstormed possible compositions.
Scans of my Collaborative Unit sketchbook.
Using letterpress and masking tape I explored options to visualise the word bleed.
I thought of sewing the word too during a binding workshop.
